Life of a Student

Head is an untidy desk
Full of books and hooks
Increase the speed of the brain
To that of a fast running train
Before exams we relax
When they are around the corner we work hard
During the exams, fear begins to sink in
After exams, the thought of results gives us tension
Thus goes on, life of a student
With pain and stress
But hard work pays well
Fortune will smile on the prudent
On those who overcome all challenges
And continue to work diligently, till they attain success
Today, we may have to struggle more
Sacrifice many things that we desire
Our efforts will never go waste
It assures a future that is secure
Earn respect, and live life with dignity

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
