A Lady In the Dark

far from free
away, so far
hidden
in the fog
a lady in the dark.
waiting for nothing
tears in the eyes
fading smile on the lips
and the last light of love.
no sound, no sign
silence in the heart.
LAST CALL FOR LONELY HEARTS
a lady in the dark
hidden in the fog
far from free.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Wow. This one gave me the shivers due to its honesty. "lady in the dark waiting for nothing". Wow!
