Lodge Fire

Something was igniting between us.
At first I fought off the flames because I know what it feels like when the air gets too much and I wasn’t ready to be choked again.
So I held my breath for as long as I could, but even I couldn’t deny that this fire was becoming indistinguishable
So I took my hand down from my mouth.
Quickly I became engulfed in the flames and
All I could do now was to allow myself to let you in
and hope that I’d make it out alive.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
