The poem(s) are below...

Addicted To the Pain

Addicted to the pain
Reaching out for help would be vain

Many woes I have slain
Happy only when feeling drained

No point trying to abstain
Letting my demons dance in the rain

What is destined is insane
A one-way ticket for a dead-end train

Nothing to lose, nothing to gain
Only confined by invisible chains

Flowing free like the blood in my veins
Kept in a cage constructed by my brain

The world visible through the window pane
I shall not move, I stay in my lane

With all of my options, I light the butane
For I am, addicted to the pain
