I Will Stand

I WILL STAND

                  BY: MYESHA PITTMAN

I’m broken down like a stick that gets stepped on depression and drug abuse is taking over.
I will stand up and take over I’ll move drugs.
But I see it in you, we are going to walk it out.
I’ll rise till it happens.
Thousands of teens are facing depression and drug abuse.
I’ll rise unafraid and I will do it a thousand times again
Just like gold and silver I shine
Cocaine marijuana crack pills needles are all monsters
Why? I have no clue
But like dust you’ll float away, and we will suffer
What you made us to be.
We can die of suicidal thoughts
Drugs make us go crazy, but we will rise
I will rise with you to the green path
Your almost there
Your future is near
I will stand up
I will stop this
We will stand together

Sincerely Myesha Pittman
