Insomnia
Eyes wide open, struggling to close
mind with no rest, makes me very upset
I wont sleep tonight, tomorrow night, or the night after that.
I cant. I wont sleep without saying goodnight.
sitting awake for hours, restlessly; very aware of insomnia's powers.
thinking about you, the grass, the flowers.
clocks ticking.. slower and slower
body with no sleep, makes me very weak.

rocking back and forth, ive been sitting awake for hours and hours
