Aftermath

you broke me,
strangely enough,
I love you with what's left,
I'm happy for you,
for her,
because I know,
what she has is special,
those were the hands,
I once held,
the lips,
I once kissed,
everyday I put on a brave face,
to hide my pain,
deep down inside,
I want you to know,
although I try not to show,
whether it was meant to be or not,
I still love you.
