As I Journey

In the beginning of this journey, I was afraid,
seeing my body torn with bone sticking out
of my flesh made me realize I am not invinceable
but the opposite of being very fragile.
I need to be careful and take good care of myself now.
I would need to pull from a different place to get
through this challenge.
The place of courage,
that I may have my freedom again.
I will walk free of wheelchair or cane,
I will be out again walking in the early morning rays praying to my God in
thanksgiving for another day. Amen.
