Hollow Hearts

Oh what beautiful music feeds my ear Slowly my eyes begin to shut and fall into my own memories So joyous were those days, where i didnt know so much fear How i miss those cold nights were we sat around the fire and told horros stories Days lasted so much longer then I had little to no worries at all If only i knew then what i know now, if only time i could stall All i have is faint happy scences in my memory that i bring to life with my pen So many sunsets ago, yet it feels like just yersterday i held her hand We were so in love, and knew nothing else but what we felt The days we had all flew by so fast, she always made my heart melt We always watched the moon sink into the ocean from our bed of sand Life is all but perfect, and just like that she left with someone else we grew apart I wonder if i will ever love again Perhaps a womans heart is easy to understand if i pretend But love is all i know even if it flows right thought a hollow heart

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
