When it's time for my fate
And my beauty fades
Stand by my side
Strong, on my right

The dark tunnel has light
When my strength fails
And all my successes rail
Remind me it's real
But it'll all rail

And pray it rains
Over the trains
Of my chains
That keep me captive
And my soul adaptive
Faces can be deceptive

But there is no escape
From the bold shape
Into the shade
Of my chains

I do not question
The reaction,
It's an action.

My faith withers
