Live To Tell

Sit by me and listen
It’s not the right time to die, nor is it season
Tell me now,” who do you believe in”?
Humans are self destructive, I no longer search for a reason
Live to tell, nobody can die too well not to be mourned
I grew up misinformed, I was young and my vessel was vacant... that’s how I was destroyed

Live to tell, don’t make me cry when you’re lifeless
Don’t leave with answers, die; but not like this
Live to tell, they don’t have any poets in hell
Build a legacy & I could wish you farewell
Live to tell

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed day.
