Mental Illness

in this world i travel alone
because no one knows the dark place i call home
no one knows where my mind goes on those dark nights when im alone.
fight they say, but what if theres no more fight to give
no more battle to win, no more strength within
i'm trying not to give in,
to the devil in my mind
that tells me everything from which i try to hide
its killing me from the inside
any day i'm bound to die, murdered by the demon inside.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
