By My Side

Mellow moonlight, the trees are shady
The stars all shimmering like a melody
See they are praying for you and me
We can see the moon from far together
Nights like these doesn't seem fair
The cold wind running through my hair
These memories i can't undo
I want to hold on to you
All I want by my side is you
By my side, by my side is you

The thoughts untold feelings unknown
Like a Caterpillar not fully grown
Sometimes I need the dark to see bright
Stars in the sky with dim moonlight
You and I to be so far away
Getting little closer everyday
These memories i can't undo
I want to hold on to you
All I want by my side is you
By my side, by my side is you

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
