A Loud Silence

I sit here.
Right beside you
But I feel
Like I might as well be here by myself

Silence between us
It feels like we’re worlds apart

I can hear you
Trying to sleep

Yet I sit here
Restless and empty
Longing for a connection
That now feels like its lost

Silent crying
Staring over where you lay
What did I do wrong?
Maybe I shouldn’t have stayed..

I hate this feeling.
Like you don’t care.
Say one but do another
Mr hippocrate don’t say you care

You’re confusing me
Is it one or another?
Just sit down
Just pick a damn chair!

Why can’t we just talk?
It doesn’t even feel like you’re here.
You want something to mad about?
Look in the ing mirror

I can’t stand this
Why don’t you care
Im pouring my heart out
And you won’t even sit next to me on the chair

You never try anymore
You’re always so high off your ass
And lately it’s always an “I don’t know” or “sure”

Give me a straight answer
What”s going on in your head?
Just talk to me for once
I need you, just listen
Or at least act like you are

I don’t know how to do this anymore
I’m talking to the ing wall.
I’m just going to leave now
There was no point to this at all

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
