The Color Purple

The Color Purple. Poem by Joy Payne

I saw what you did to my family confused, lost, scared, well you can't handle me.
I've been sleeping for a long time, I wake up and I see you, the slime of all time.
Since my birth my mission was charted.
You thought you were the ruler of this world.
Dynamic, catchy, talented, but I twirled around you, and you were cunning almost to a point I thought I could change you, but now I see the unchangeable you.
The way you temp, afflict, oppose, disguise the real you, sorry your time is up and the hours are counting few.
Embracing the truth is all you can do. You tried to be me in Cinderella's shoe.
Today is a dream come true.
I am a queen here to take my throne and start with new beginnings, that is why my favorite color is purple.
Purple represents Kings, Queens, and all things under the "I Am".
When the truth comes to the majority you thought you had will become few.
This is nothing new for I review the day when my words are toxic to the enemy, but fresh to those who have faith in me.
You the accuser was nothing more than an abuser of the Holy One the son of creation.
I bring joy, hope, peace, and love things you can't contemplate.
I have overcome you, but yet you knew and still blew your chance for eternal life.
Like a knife my words stab you back.
This is it for you, so hit the road Jack
