The Worst Gift of All

You made me, 
Created out of nothing just to
Let me be.

No hopes of seeing the shores, 
No boat to stay afloat.
‘Tis a gift best left unopened.

Just by nature, I will breath.
I will cling onto the edge
And ask “Why do I bother?”
