Love

Something special, something unique,
Something complicated and an unsolved mystery.
A seven year old’s definition of love,
Fairy Tales, castles,
Happy endings and blue skies.

A seventeen year old’s definition of love,
First kiss, movie dates and cuddles,
It’s like a red delicate rose,
Beautiful and soft but,
Can prick you

Beware!
Heartbroken into millions of pieces,
Tears burst forth like a water of a dam,
Dark grey clouds,
And chilly nights,
With hidden greed,
Lust,
Filled with dark conspiracy,
All around.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
