Why

Can you smell the liquid salt coming from my eyes?
Why do you have to be this selfish demon I despise?
Why do you make me hold back this rotting anger inside of me?
Is this really what you want me to turn out to be?
I'm your daughter this isn't your life...
I need you to quit before I die!
We've had enough of your stupid games...
Can't you see that you're driving us away?
I'm 9 dad, by your choice I'm no longer yours,
I won't stand for this, I won't let you close ALL these open doors!
Mom loves you and so did I, but dad just tell me why?
Drugs are your new family...
That I can plainly see.
Well, If you don't need us that's fine with me,
I don't want you in this family!
I know I'm different, but that's how you made me.
So, If I start to cry...
Why do you hate?
I loved you... Even when you weren’t there.
Come on dad this isn't fair.
Why can't you just care?

Hard to watch someone fall. We learn. The person addicted, must want to be saved. A sad tale written in the poetry.

Excellent, I like this. It would make a great rap with angst. Heartbreaking and dad but oh so common a feature of society.
