Never Look Back

Hairy tales that make you gasp
at night when you’re alone,
lost in the mist and murky
light, far, so far from home.
Loud and harsh the scary sounds,
over the walls, blasts abound, to
wreck your ears and curl your toes;
elves and goblins spread their woes.
Escape you must, flee with fear,
never look back, Halloween is here.

Gloria, welcome to PoetrySoup. Elves and goblins spread their woes, and you do need to escape. Fantastic whimsy and right in time!
