Winter's Monologue

Where is the love gone?
You used to hold me when I shed my tears
Slowly breathing in my fears
Safe I felt till dawn

Why did you go away?
I lay still hoping for you to come back
My heart aching as it turned coal black
Head in my palms I pray

At night I wait for you
Visions of you keeping me sane
As I break in two
A soul, broken by all never the same

Pieces lay piercing the skin you once touched
Where I’m Screaming and torturing till night
 A soul no longer white
In the arms of death clutched

Before long I step into the light...
