One Silly Truth

TITLE : one silly truth

I never knew I never knew
that the truth
That give birth to life hurts
That promises sleeps with conditions
That the repented heart
Must avoid restitution
That forgiveness and love
Works narrowly
But may never meet
Love is hate
But hate can't be love

One silly truth
Why do love likes
secrets and deceit
How can love detest honesty
Why did God created men
to love lies
Questions and disordered mystery
When i say I cheated on you
I needed your help
And not your judgement
I leave the last line for you
To tell me I can sleep

Why did God create us to love and make lies? Philosophical poem here. So, the person in the poem is forthcoming about cheating and realizes they need support rather than condemnation. Intricate and tangled emotions in your poem. Thanks!

Victor, you have managed to speak about some pretty complicated topics (destiny, fatalism, value systems) in a very approachable way. Unique perspectives. Well done, sir.
