God of Rest

Amid the seasons of life
Colors and shades,
Human heart is but a dolphin;
A wanderer restless
Unless it in him finds rest.

In the cascading pages of heartaches
Of yesteryears;
The sorrow and melancholy of the now,
The heart is banished from peace,
Surrender it to God.

When winds wild blow
Your eyes rise above storms
Find refuge in His embrace.
