Shape the Mind

Lazy habits impress the brain,
Like trickling ink will cause a stain.
Throw out the cloth or cause it to smear,
It's like going for a walk, while holding a beer.

Sick people who don't get better,
Read the quote and understood the letter.
They knew that soda degrades the juice,
When they tore open the sugar pack and let it loose.

If you run intending to hide,
You would run out of gas in the car that you ride.
Running from yourself, you might as well walk,
No need to shout, just quietly talk.

It's knowing what to do and doing what's wrong,
That prevents you from having a body that's strong.
If you're holding the milk carton and watching it leak,
You know what it's doing, while your reaction is weak.

Walk a few minutes and see that you can,
Wait till you're done to keep remembering when.
Run for a minute and know that you did,
Open the cookie jar and keep closing the lid.
