Beautiful Inconvenience

It's raindrops on my glasses
A bump in the sidewalk while riding my bike
A postcard not received and a letter never sent
It is an ignored text message and a call from an unknown caller
Closed roads when you are supposed to be home
Melted snow when you just put your gloves on
It is your favorite CD, scratched
A burned out wick and a dried up rose
It is a rainstorm at the beach
A sunny day when you are ill
All of these describe how I feel when I see you
It is just a beautiful inconvenience
