Incomplete

I thought id learnt to control the tides but this ones a hard one to please.
The eb and flow, the way she knows im conquared, i am weak
Below the surface, i take the blow that bellows out my name
a gasp, submerged and back again but breif and incomplete.
A few moons had passed since i'd heard her sing,
though her whispers echoed on,
I heard her meloncony calls each time i sang my song
