They Are the Power
They are the power of humanity,
In the peaceful protest march
The rainbows of thousands youthful Black,
White and Brown merge together,
They walk together,
They voice together
And feel together,
It is not the march for George Floyd alone
Killed in police brutality,
Or many Black Americans are being killed,
It is the march to heal the century old
Festering wounds they’re carrying in their body,
It is the march to restore the dying Democracy
And salvage the nation’s constitution,
It is the march looking for the good leadership
In the wake of the apocalyptic viral deaths,
The unstoppable spirit of the march
Will be quiet on that day
When justice will prevail with equality,
When the sun will glow at the horizon
With new hope and strong bond!
