How do you stop your mind,
From wanting what cannot be.
How do you stop your dreams,
From something you will never see.
How do you stop your heart,
From hurting so bad.
How do you stop the tears,
From being so sad.
How do you stop your soul,
From being beaten and battered.
How do you put your heart back together,
After being shattered.
How do you recover from being broken.
