Free

I saw the way you looked at me
And how in those moments I felt free
From the smile that lit up any room
To the mask you wore like a costume
I saw the way your eyes lost its light
When you continued the interal fight
The act that's placed
Won't ever be written on your face
The worlds gone by
With every blink of an eye
You act strong in life
But each breathe feels like a knife
You hide your pain
So that it's easier to maintain
You're not alone
Even if stuff is unknown
I saw the way you looked at me
And how in that moment a piece of you was free
