Shattered

The sun goes down
In my empty room
The long night awaits
The torture ahead
Broken remains of a soul
Shown no mercy
Silence a crutch
As well as a gift
Shreds of glass
Upon the floor
A moment of rage
Now forgotten for another
Pulling at threads
For a little piece of sanity
Left behind
In the cruel world
Lost and choking
Cluttered and empty
Looking for solace
Anywhere, any way
Innocence torn
Forsaken lifeless
Horror
I speak not
For I have no voice
Look not upon the ashes
The dusty remains of my being
Scattered on the floor
Pierced by crystal.
