The meaning of life is to love
These meaningless words come to light
You carry on your shoulders the weight of my affection
But I hope this love rings true in your ears
You do not blanket yourself from reality
You look it dead in the eye
I believe in the power of your heart
Seeing you makes the withering world beautiful
You are all that is good, all that is divine
You hang off the moon and the stars and the sky…
I do not deserve you, I’m sure I never will
But as long as I am with you
I will try to be as good as I can.
