Dan Jacobs Poem
As the lovers begin to slowly slip
from each others tightly locked grip
out of each others arms they fall
into the public world and all
realizing exactly where they are
a busy station where trains go far
as one of them boards the dusty old train
Im sure I can feel their hurt and their pain
They really do look so much in love
as one of them places a bag up above
sits on down and looks outside
as the other looks on the old dusty ride
Soon the engines will have to start
as the train prepares ready to depart
their faces look like they belong
and being apart for them is wrong
Its too late now to change their mind
the trains pulling off and ones been left behind
I watch a tear as it leaves her eye
and she stands all alone and waves goodbye

Dan Jacobs Poem
We could go to the beach,
Where the ocean meets the sand
Always together, hand in hand
We could go to the city
Where the buildings meet the sky
Always together, till the day we die
We could walk through the park
Where the flowers meet the grass
Always together, hand on your ass
We could go to the forest
Where the animals live so free
Always together just you and me
We could go to mars
Where there’s nothing to do
Always together, always with you

Dan Jacobs Poem
I want to take you dancing
through each and every night
I want to take you dancing
it always feels so right
I want to take you dancing
to every club I know
I want to take you dancing
at every music show
I want to take you dancing
and spin you round in style
I want to take you dancing
each and every while
I want to take you dancing
To every band there is
I want to take you dancing
and often stop to kiss
I want to take you dancing
it's all I want to do
I want to take you dancing
cause i love to dance with you

Dan Jacobs Poem
I sort of stutter inside my head
Like I'm nervous before the words are said
My hands they shake and even sweat
I’m not the one on which to bet
My eyes are weak I’m not so strong
I sort of fumble and get words wrong
My legs get cramp my toes are bent
And all of my best years have been spent
My bones are poor they crack and creek
I gave up hope my spirits weak
My thoughts are jumbled it’s not so good
I’ve never loved like lovers should
I’m not always honest I lie so well
And when there's a secret I tend to tell
But when it's over it’s all been said and done
There’s not a fault I can’t overcome
