A Mighty Warrior

Who am I one person in so many

That God hears me when I call

So many billions

Still He hears one voice

Out of them all

Sea of soul some great some mighty some small

Who am I that He hears me when I call

I am a Mighty Warrior

Who goes boldly before the throne of God.

I array myself with the Holy Armor,

Awaiting the battle call

Armed with the breastplate of righteousness

I gird my loins with the truth I wear

I put on the helmet of salvation,

The blood-bought covering of God

Walking in the path of light

I bind my feet in the gospel of peace

My shield in my left hand, up high I hold

As evil comes against me, my faith is bold

My sword in my right hand, as His Spirit befalls

One with God standing straight and tall

That’s who I am, A Mighty Warrior

Who He hears, when I call

Soldier

Throughout eternity came the Call

From within the womb came the infant

From within the infant came the man

From within the man

Came the answer to the Call

As an ambassador of God he takes a stand

Against the ruler of darkness that invaded the land

Led by the spirit seeking the soul of man

Proclaiming truth throughout the land

Led by the Masters hand

As a soldier he watches while others sleep

Listening for the voice

Of our Commander and Chief

In the sea of souls the battle rages on

A sword in his right hand up high he holds

A shield in his left pushing through as victory

 Unfolds

Wisdom

I sought for wisdom
It brought me trials.
Through the trials,
I gained knowledge.
With knowledge
I was taught
The fear of the Lord.
In the fear of the Lord,
It gained me understanding.
Within understanding,
It gained me blessing.
Blessed is he who seeks
And attains wisdom.
In wisdom
Man will become
The very essence,
Of God own heart.
Wisdom is a gift
From God to man.

The Masters Hand

My creditors surround me like a sea, the wave’s crash upon me so fierce I can hardly breathe. I feel so alone; though I know that it is my flesh that speaks. For I know in God alone, He supplies all my needs; He becomes all things to me. No matter how rough the path may be, my strength is in the Master‘s Hand that He has lent to me.
For as it was once said so long ago…. The Lord is my shepherd; my provider and strength. I shall not want; nor lack for need. He maketh me to lie in green pastures; He gives a pleasant place to call my home. He leadeth me beside still waters, as He guides me peacefully, through this journey of life alone. He restoreth my soul; as He brings me back each day renewed. He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for His name sake; as He drives me forth in the right path, His name becomes engraved in the very essence of my being. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death; I will fear no evil, even though my life may be carried to the brink of death, for You, oh God, are with me. Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me; Your scepter is my authority; Your staff is my support; my peace in You I find. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You, oh Lord, place a strong hold over the attacks that come against me; You spread it out on a table arrayed in victories. You, oh Lord, anointest my head with oil as my cup runneth over; as you place me in time and satisfy my soul with a rich fragrance and beauty unknown. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; from the mountain top to the valley through the good times and bad, My path will He light, with favor and kindness of His love. I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever; and forever hold to the Master’s Hand.

Memories

Minute by minute
Day by day
My memories will
Never fade away
As I close my eyes
I see your face
I feel the warmth
Of your embrace
Reaching and feeling
Into your mind
To become one in time
I looked into your eyes
I felt your soul
I felt the passion
You left behind
Shifting through
The sands of time
As minutes turn to hours
Hours into days
Memories of yesterday

Victim

A Victim is what it is...

Torn apart and unwhole

Feeling helpless and all alone.

Looking over one's shoulder

Never to know...

To run to hide one knows not where.

Is he here or is he there?

This stalker of the night...

I feel his presence,

I see him not.

I know he's there lurking in the night.

Is there justice in the land?

Cries the victim of the night.

As the night fades away

And the dawn turns to light

The victim still knows

He's just waiting for the night.

Soul Mate

Reaching and feeling into your mind
Knowing your thoughts before their time
Sharing your trials, feeling your pain
Hearts beating as one in time
To love, to hold
To Laugh, to partake
To perpetuate theses moment
As life passes by
As hours turns to days
Days into years
Two heart that join
Together entwine
As one in time

A Mothers Sorrow

God Calls To His Child
It's Time...Come Home...

In the wake of death a mother is left
With pain and sorrow
She felt like there would be no tomorrow
For death had left a hole in her heart
And a emptiness that followed
God in His mercy looked down from above
Through the portals of time he seen the
Tears of a mother's love
His compassion and mercy fell like rain
Guiding her through the grief and pain
He sent his strength each day anew
Holding her hand and walking her through
This promise he gave
With unending love
Your grief and sorrow I will replace
With joy and peace in
All your tomorrows

A Slient World

In the midst of people that surround me, filled with laughter and love and living of life, to be a part of this world I long to be
To be loved
To be hugged
To be embraced
To be free with laughter
To smile or to say hello
Without people looking through me
Or passing me by
Why do people shun me
What have I done
Am I not made of flesh and blood
Do I not bleed
Do I not dream and cry
Can I not feel the coolness of the rain
Or the warm of the sun
Or the wind upon my face
Am I to be avoided because
I cannot see or cannot hear
Could it be that my mind is weak or mentally not here
Or that my face and body is disfigured beyond years
Can you not look past my scars and see the tears
Or hear my cry or feel my fears

Stand

As the mighty waves crash against

Me in the sea of life

I will stand

As the violent wind blows

Tearing asunder what in its path

I will stand

As sickness comes against me

And the vapors of death surround me

I will stand

As I am striped down to nothing

But the bare necessity of this life

I will stand

I will stand; for it is the Master

Who calms the waves and

Holds the wind in His hands

I will stand; for it was He who bore the stripes

And it is He who is victorious over death

I will stand; for He is my provider

He is my refuge and my strength

I will stand

For I hold the Masters Hand
