This Age

They drew boundaries on my heart
They carved up land apart
They made realms of their own
And left the rest forlorn

So-called countries they all made
With a resolve to invade
With firearms, bombs and weapons,
Gone was the earthly heaven

Brotherhood, love, sacrifice
Displaced with many a vice

Tell me now, O friend,
Will they divide themselves?

Djoker Forever On My Fave Sportsman Novak Djokovic

Through Fedal's incessant reign
He pierced his way to glory
With plenty of effort and pain
He scripted a new story

First Slam in 2008
Number one three years later
But what a miserable fate-
Injury made him retire

He couldn't win a Slam then on
His elbow wouldn't obey
That doesn't mean that he is gone
One still can't match his play

He's the toughest guy on tour
Can bounce back from the brim
The finest of the big four
You just can't conquer him

He'll be back ruling on top
He'll beat those guys afresh
And then he can't be stopped
From being the all-time best

Daffodils

Lining the misty golden hills
Are the dazzling yellow daffodils
Like Earth beneath a quilt of blaze
And a gleaming veil of morning haze

Sprawling over the fragrant mud
Radiant blossoms and fresh buds
Rich green leaves with scented dew
What a sight it is to view

Gazing at the blue yonder
What can be sweeter, I wonder
Than Golden daffodils, dewdrop pearls
Bestowing beauty to the world
