Honesty

Is honesty just unattainable?
People smile all the while they lie and deceive you? 
Is there no honesty left in this world?
Like water running through your fingers, honesty just runs out?
Is their no honest people left in this world?
The thought of this brings great sadness to my soul…
I want to trust and love others…
I want honesty and truth…
I want a deep connection to others…
To feel truly connected and trusting…
Or is it just a dream??

Moonbeams

As the glow of the moon beams shines down upon all to see, she cloaks the midnight world in a sea of shimmering white light. 
Whenever the moon is full, my heart is filled with playfulness & laughter. As if me and the full moon are connected in some special cosmic way.
As I dance in the moonlight, she caresses me in light. Throwing shades of light to and fro, as the wind blows up and down my dress.
I feel free & light as the moon and I dance together in the midnight hour. 
As I stop and look up at her in the night's sky, she genteelly smiles at me, and I at her. 
I feel as if I am a small part of this wonderful universe. 
Me & the beautiful full moon together in the the night's sky, as we sway back and forth, smiling & dancing among the stars...

The Unseen

They are those who walk in this world. 
For they have never owned functioning transportation.
You see them waiting for a bus or walking alone. 
No one to pick them up or to even care about the blisters on their feet.
But in their solace, there are others too who know of their plight. 
For they have walked the same path and felt the same pain.
The loneliness & deep sorrow that is etched upon their skin.
Plant flowers along the pathways to encourage them to walk on and never give up.
"Believe in yourself and keep going they say."
The beautiful flowers and trees we pass every day.
We never even notice their beauty and fragrance.
Yet they bloom and grow, in a never-ending cycle of death & rebirth.
The unseen in this world, discarded and unimportant. 
They move silently in the spaces between houses & down alleyways.
How wrong we really are to not notice or even care...
May we love the unlovable...
May we notice, care & help those who cannot help themselves!!

Freedom

It is strong breeze that blows in the 4 directions of the wind and clears the storm of the night before…
It is the sun peaking over the clouds of the storm to illuminate all that it touches upon this earth with its bright cleansing ray…
It is the bird’s sweet song, in the morning after the nightmare of the night before…
It is the feeling you get when the whole world is your oyster, and nothing is impossible…
It is the touch in your heart of a love one’s words, that reminds you there is hope and love still left in this world…
It is the loving look from an adored pet, that reminds us of the unconditional love of all animals…
It is the blessings we cherish from a God of Pure love...
The cages we feel, we build within our own hearts and minds…
Open the door and step through…

As I drift off to sleep, my thoughts are filled with images of you…
Your eyes, that could melt the coldest heart…
Your lips, warm and inviting, like a warm fire on a cold winters night, that I long to kiss…
Your arms, so strong, that they could support all that you cherish with ease…
In the night I hold you and I feel your heart within me….
Two hearts that beat as one…
Two souls that are twin flames…

Evil

It creeps into your life and robs you of love and forgiveness…
The two things which you need in your soul to exist in this world…
It appears as something harmless, like a small lie, but it is far from that…
It is the bringer of depression and anxiety…
It corrupts the mind and torments the soul...
It takes all that is wholesome and good and leaves nothing in its wake…
Why can we not see it for what it really is?
Why are we so blinded by evil in its many forms??
Why can’t we see beyond the illusions and tap into what is real for us??
Love and kindness are what is needed so desperately in this world…
May we always fight against evil in its many forms!!
May we help those affected by evil!!
We will rise triumphed as the good warriors of this world!!
