Be Aware of Your Awesomeness

Death is just the taking away
of the gross material that
enshrouds and hides
the life essence that is you,
setting you free from your
temporary cocoon that has become
your mortal prison.
In your freedom,
You will find there's no death.
Live your life fully with gladness.
Be aware of your awesomeness
and make a mark with your life.
Follow the path of righteousness.
Realise that you are nothing more
than a sojourner on earth.
Enter into each day with
joyful tenderness in your heart.
Take whatever comes to you,
either good or bad as it is
without much ado,
for they come to make up
the textures of your life.
Be strong and courageous
Remain calm in the face of adversities.
Be unshakable,
for all you encountered and achieved
is for a while and for a purpose,
to make your life a worthy one.
Do not for any reason cause anyone
to cry or suffer because of you.
Live wherever life places you in harmony
with those in your sphere knowing
you are there to serve.
Be aware of what will be a source of
your future annoyance,
and with wisdom deal with it
or completely avoid it.
Remember who you are always.
Do the right things.

Walking Masterpiece

Can I take about 60 seconds to tell you how amazing you really are?
Would you mind?
Well you see..
It's not that simple,
But today,
my job was easy...
because well,
here you are.
And so here is my entry for today:
You may not realize this,
but you are a walking masterpiece.
As this speaks of you,
my love,
my heart,
my strength,
my passion,
my soul,
my equal,
my best friend,
my soulmate,
my challenge,
my everything.
You are a living,
breathing structure built of 206 interlocked bones.
640 interwoven muscles.
And 95 billion neurons,
all shooting energy
and messages endlessly to each other,
every moment of the day.
On top of all that,
You breathe 20,000 times per day.
You blink your eyelids 28,000 times per day.
And your heart beats 115,200 times per day.
ALL without even thinking about it!
Isn't that amazing? :-)
Plus, aside from being a walking
masterpiece of science -
You are beautifully,
fearfully,
excellently,
gloriously made.
You are one of the most Generous,
Thoughtful, and Kind person I know.
So, first of all, I just want to say,
THANK YOU FOR BEING AWESOME.
May your day be filled with all that is beautiful and divine.

Awakening

Today I just laughed at
myself for not noticing
the calamity about to
happen that day.
How could I not see
the poison hidden within
those fragrance of the flowers.
It is so funny how the thing
you wanted could destroy you.
The only thing I could do at this
 point of discovery and awakening
is just to laugh.
But so grateful I stopped
myself on time and avoided the
sting from the thorns
of those deadly flowers.
How could I not see it.
I smell the flowers.
but deaf and dumb to its poison.
I will never forget this day,
it will burn into my bones.
Someone who doesn't hold his life dear,
can not take anything else as precious.
My heart resonates to this
overwhelming peace within my being.
Today is awesome,
filled with bliss and gratitude towards life.

The Ultimate Gifts

The gift of life
The gift of living
The gift of pain
The gift of prophecy
The gift of work
The gift of financial increase
The gift of challenges
The gift of learning
The gift of family
The gift of friendship
The gift of laughter
The gift of this moment
The gift of dreams
The gift of gratitude
The gift of giving
The gift of righteousness
The gift of love
All of these gifts working in synergy
to bring us where we need to be.
It is grace at work.
Grace speaks, for grace abounds.
Be grateful.

There Is Such a Man

You're an individual.
 You're unique.
And it's important that you
create the space to
express your uniqueness,
and become the fully expressed,
fully unleashed,
fully unlimited vibrancy that you are.
There's a stage in a mans life
when he will keep
every other thing aside
and stand alone without fear
to confront whatever obstacle
that stand in his way,
even intimidation from
the most powerful
or care that beset him
and infest his life,
his inadequacies he will confront
and challenge them with boldness.
Even when the
demons of hell be invoked
and conjured up to come forth
 and do their very worse,
he knows they shall not pass
and neither shall they prevail,
because he has been through a lot,
he doesn't really cared
anymore what happens to him,
he has come a long way
and he's here now,
that is  all that matters.
He speaks the truth
that only him can speak,
so profound and will so piercingly hurts
the ears of the guilty ones.
he will boldly stand on the edge
of the mountain top
and let the wind of life pass forcefully
through and over him.
he becomes a determined soul
who confronts the odds in his life,
with the help of the almighty,
he attains the consciousness of the cosmic,
his spirit is now so awakened,
he becomes one with universe,
so enlightened,
he is now an adept to
help in the down world,
carrier of the divine light,
protector of the weak,
full of vigor,
always ready,
a doer of the impossible,
he now becomes
the keeper of the flame,
his back bent from the rigours
of suffering and pain,
showing the marks of
the whiplash he received,
his brows so wrinkled with
inner wisdom that comes out of the
time spent in long hours
of fasting and meditations,
calm with the inner beauty of the spirit,
not intimidating or forceful,
he commands authority,
exacts influence and check anything
that's not edifying from
influencing his environment
and atmosphere he created for himself
and then allow others into his world
to experience the realm
of power bestowed on him,
he is indeed now,
a peculiar fellow,
a workman that needs not be afraid,
one set apart for good works,
for he has chosen the path of his destiny.
Yes,there is such a man amongst us.

The Corrupt

The life of power is so
funny that man become so
engrossed with such impunity
to pursue a purposeless life
full of vanity and violence
to keep their sinking ship afloat
to sail in their stormy waters
full of monsters.
Wake up now and save yourselves
from this tsunami that's going to
wipe you away from that delirious
dream of yours.
As oppressors are so blinded by greed,
even so are the ones seeking power.
Intimidation becomes their best
weapon to oppress the weak.
Their eyes blinded to the
tears of the hungry,
ears closed to the cries of the afflicted,
no mercy for the sick ones,
their hearts hardened for there's
no pity in them.
They abhorred to be corrected,
advice given are not taken
for they cannot be counselled.
Corrupted by greed,
they dip their hands deep into
the public funds kept in their custody.
The funds meant for National use disappeared at their watch.
Yet they claimed to be innocent
of their heinous crimes,
pretending to be honest they
rob the state treasury.
Looters are they amongst themselves,
a disgrace to the service entrusted to them,
exposing their ignorance to the gullible.
Shame on you.

The Alien In Me

From birth to a toddler
As a toddler to teenager
From teenage to adolescent
And as I grew up
I knew I'm weird
I knew am unique
I knew am an enigma
I knew am different
I also knew am an Odd fellow
Yeah I see things
not seen with optical eyes
Hear things beyond this realm
I am prophetic for
I say the unspeakable,
things not normal for the average
They say so many things
about me as am growing up:
You are so annoyingly quite
You are so sensitive
You are always by yourself.
You are a loner
Your eating habits are so different,
You eat herbs.
You are a teetotaler,
And a recluse,
an introvert,
With the ability to heal the sick.
An object of mingled awe and revulsion,
Simultaneously revered and abhorred,
Mysterious and elusive,
highly talented and unassuming,
with enormous strength but reserved.
I am an alien,
living amongst strangers.
There's an Alien within.

Alone But Not Lonely

How did I ever even get here,
to this lonely place,
alone in this palace,
this place of solitude,
so quiet I can feel
the warmth of Nok the cat
sitting calmly,
from a distance at the corner
of the room window pane
with eyes closed as if he's
waiting for someone
special to join us,
oblivious of the world outside.
Looking out from where I seated,
I could see the trees dancing
to the music played by the wind.
I can also see a lonely bird
sitting all alone like me,
and I can't help but to think,
if this lonely bird is also waiting
for the lover to come.
Suddenly I felt a warm
embrace of her hand around me,
so comforting and reassuring,
and within me I also know that
it's going to be okay with that
lone bird out there as I heard
the song of another bird
calling out to the one on the tree.
Nok the cat was also picked up,
for i could hear her purring with joy.
It's not so bad after all at being alone
but not lonely for a while.

Growing Pains

Like I have just stepped out
of a cocoon hidden in an
ancient ageless cave.
Freshness of the atmosphere,
so amazingly beautiful and divine
greets me as if am jolted back
out of a long absence into the
present moment.
Everything seems anew
as I looked at the firmament
after a long slumber.
I can hear my pounding heart
as if it's just starting for the first time.
But this serenity I feel around me
eludes many.
Amidst the turmoil and noise,
the devastation and hunger,
the hopelessness I see in the
eyes of the young ones,
dashed dreams amongst the elderly,
disappointments amongst the youth,
depression within the heart of our women,
discrimination among different ethnic tribes,
separatism of the rich from the poor,
the greediness within secular bodies,
control and robbery in religious circle,
 lasciviousness and whoredom
amongst women already taken is heartbreaking,
increase of sodomy in our society,
families torn apart,
the presence of ethnic cleansing
from these strange ones is disturbing.
My heart at the moment seems unperturbed,
but withdrawn from all these
unnecessary harrowing growing pains.
I have seen deaths of the innocent ones
which society seem to reject.
I have watched bigotry unleashed
and put in place by the trusted people.
Unwittingly there's anarchy within.
I watched as a spectator looking at the
tumultuous ebbs of the ocean tides,
the breakdown of law and
order amongst the people.
But my heart is at peace with myself
and the world for I know that judgement is near.

Monarch of the Universe

I recognize you
I acknowledge your presence
You are the King of
the castle of my heart.
You made me see the invisible,
believe the impossible.
I hinged my life,
my prosperity on your presence.
Because you dwell in my castle,
my struggles are over.
The whole earth wonders of you.
The beauty of your existence
is seen all over the cosmos.
Your glory and beauty is marvelous,
your might is captivating,
you radiate in all your creations,
seen in all their actions.
Fearful but approachable,
so high but near.
My heart pants when you touch me.
On my knees is the place to reach you.
My heart is so grateful for
the love of your indwelling presence.
I am still perplexed and amazed at the
impact of your touch on my own spirit.
My heart rejoice
and my mouth says thank you.
I will always carry your presence
to affect my world.
