Elliot Fenton Poem
Her eyes are the color of ice on a cool winters twilight,
drastically different then the color that's in her soul.
An acidy lime green that melts away all the plastic of this synthetic world with a hiss & a fizzle.
From the moment you were born there were lights
across the sky to dazzle passerby,
coincidence is a blind mans reason.
Independence lives in this woman, not the Fourth of July.
I didn't commit treason, but I never understood why.....
