Him

An ash blaze scours your head.
The ice kaleidoscope of your eyes burns into my soul.
The hardened touch of gentle hands scars my body.
The piercing touch of his tongue abuses my lips.
My knees weaken. His smell, musky, tainted with Armani.
The torture continues. You’ve pull me into your destructive embrace.
Shocked with electricity, you whisper
I can satisfy you.

Behing the Smile.

Behind that smile is a life once known.
Lost forever. Hidden. Denied.
Behind that smile is a pain unending.
Constantly burning, brown and unbearable.
Behind that smile a shattered set of dreams.
	Crushed, scattered and forlorn.
Behind that smile a tear stains.
	Scorching and decollated completely.
Behind that smile a truth submerged.
Never to be seen or told.
Behind that smile, a depth incomparable.
	Chasms, deep and unrevealed.
Behind that smile lies a past
Tortured, terrifying, and full of regret.
Behind that smile a joy
	Unending, faithful and unconditional.
Behind that smile a brown eyed girl
	Whose past is hidden
	And depth is securely caged.
Whose love is constant and yours.
	And tears cascading fall.
Behind that smile is simply
	Me.

Butterfly

Once again my tears have fallen.
But not for someone else.
They fall silently and inward
Only for myself.

It’s ok this time
That my tears are for me.
I trust myself,
Just this once.

Tears of retribution
Of anger and utter joy.
My life in peaceful turmoil.
Love and pain in chaotic harmony.

Just for a change
I can be strong enough to change.
Change my heart
And all my life.

Peaceful and complete
In hope and dismay.
My feet firmly planted
In the Rock in which I anchor.

Just like a caterpillar,
I am curled up
Unready to break through
Into the world.

One day when my heart’s complete.
My wings will unfold
And I a beautiful butterfly
Will grace the world.

A short time I will live.
Until the old becomes cocooned.
A new life at rebirth,
A new coat of colours to show.

With my new life I will strive
To change my heart and my soul.
Beauty shall be my end product
In power will my beauty be displayed.

My Mister

My Mr. Armani man is back,
Still claiming he’s not wack.
He struts his stuff almost every day,
Turning heads where ever he would stray.
The only way my head will turn,
Is if I am looking to his urn.

Hope

Looking at my life thro' an open window.
The pain in my eyes for all to see
Behind me is darkness; In front redemption.
My thoughts are hushed in the breeze,
My tears dried and complete.
Evidence of my trivia, ash stains down my cheeks.
Vivid greens, blues and hues,
seduce me from the other side of the window.
The inside is dull, forlorn and disarrayed,
Secrets killing my soul.
On the outside weeds seem happier than me,
Harsh cracked faces; Blood cold and frozen within.
Dandelion fairies dance high in the ocean sky.
Trapped, caught and alone.
Fear etched into each breath.
He walks in, My heart stops, light sears my soul
Release finally comes as I hit the floor
for in my hand Hope throbs.
