Tree

I sit beneath it's massive boughs, the dappled sunlight by my feet.
Gentle breezes touch my cheek, bring scents of summer soft and sweet.
Rustling leaf sound fills my ears, communication wild and free.
Between us flows a silent love.
The old Beech tree and me.

Visit To Barcelona

Soft breezes kiss the ancient stones.
Caress the twilight touched streets.
Rippling along highways where long lost ghosts parade unseen.
Fire touched spires lance skyward toward the fading blue.
Ah! there ! I see it , jeweled and clad in a cloak of purple shadow Sagrada Familia.
Wayward air flits among its spires.
A lonely gull soars out toward the sea.

Winters Night

Icicles shimmer at the eves.
Deep white snow crunches under foot.
Stars are brilliant in the deep velvet sky.
All silence , then an owl hoots.
Cold strikes through my clothes,
Nipping at my fingers nose and toes.
From the window a warm beam of light turns the snow to golden glitter.
Seductive warmth whispers at my back ,come in ,come in.
One last look to the sky .
Already feathery flakes flutter downward.
I link arms with warmth as we enter.
Against the winters night the door is a bastion now shut.
