Moyorisolaoluwa Ad Poem
i dip my pen into the ocean of helpless
fluids searching for hopeful cravings
and my blood has rippled in a thousand torrents of expectations...
but do you know that my lungs has torn, shattered and broken on pieced streets and pierced boulevards?
know that i need need not be merged together for i am a victim, curdled on the back of expectations...
you are the lost garment i search for in the holes of a torn garment, do you know how your thoughts reverberates in the hall of my mind ?
ireti, what is the spirit that dwells in you?
tell me your backbone and its custodian..
you break the rocking of my bone and paralyse the swiftness it curdles and wait..you turn my head down on the tongues of hard rocks...
ireti..i am broken
see me emerse my thoughts in the flowing waters of wisdom our fathers hold
and i hold myself with twines of hope weaved by tender tailors with soft hands behind the hopeless garments of expectations...
i am broken...not beyond repair
for i am a victim curdled on the backs of expectations

Moyorisolaoluwa Ad Poem
Females and males are one in the world,
although that is not the belief that has been furled,
we were told that one gender is better than the other,
it seems its just one stereotype;one after another,
She is a daughter, sister and mother,
then why always she suffers,
why discriminate between he and she,
God didnt,then why do we,
this is disappointing everyone, not only to me,
And to the man who thinks that women are weak,
when you were born as a baby, who did you seek ?
what crime did a transgender do
imagine living in a body that isn't you,
all of you think they are weird,
making them insecure and living in fear,
From now on,
we are coming out of the closet,
we will fight back with no bullet or bulletproof vests,
without weapons or muscles like yours,
we will walk the streets worldwide in a milion woman march,
reclaiming our rights, fighting to change the laws,
Until then i abide,
praying for the day you pull me from underneath you,
and place me at your side,
if not in this one,
then in my next life.
