This Too Shall Pass

Sometimes I feel this urge
When my thoughts and feelings merge
The depth of the pain is inexplicable
I try to bring all my worries to the table
Each and every layer I unwrap
But I can find no way out of this trap
I think it’s going to always be there
I just have to learn to not care
Life is going to bring you lots of ups and downs
After each storm learn to straighten your crown
Don’t let anything destroy your mental peace
“This too shall pass” , and your troubles shall cease.
Name of Poet (Optional) : Positive Soul

Love Our Rare Planet - Earth Day

Do we ever think how rare life is?
Our planet is the only one in the universe that gives..
We are still polluting what we have in every way
Not realizing our beautiful planet would have to pay
Every inch of resources we consume
Should be treated like a rare flower that blooms
I wish we all could understand the repercussion
Before it is too late to stop this destruction
Savor every moment on this unusual sphere
Who knows when there is another big bang or asteroid to adhere.
So lets make a pact today on earth day
Our beautiful home we should not betray.

Storm In My Head

This morning I was lying in my bed
With a storm going inside my head
Sometimes there are little things that bother me
Which are too miniscule to see
When I read the news later today
I realized how lucky I am to wake up each day
I told myself, at that moment
I am not going to spend time on relentless vent
Life is too short to worry about the trivial
You should forgive people for the venial
Those who can’t see the good in you
Do not deserve to be in your chosen few

Red Hot Roadster

The enchanted world of unknown bliss
Mr Starman on a journey without a miss
The bloodshot vehicle that he is driving
If on earth, would sure be thriving
The new roadster aboard the falcon
Is circling the space like a medallion
I promise if it was on earth today
It would be the most talked about vehicle on the highway!

What Is Forever

What is forever?
Those holding hands and watching sunset together
Is that forever?
Forever is never..
Those snuggles on the couch on a cold starry night
Is that forever?
Forever is never…
Those silly little bouts that caused the pouts
Is that forever?
Forever is never..
You making me glow, when I felt low
Is that forever?
Forever is never..
What is forever is are the souls that connect
It’s a deep thought that we usually neglect
Love from the soul is what is forever
The kind that will make two hearts never sever

Inhuman

Inhuman is what this act is
When will this madness cease?
My heart wants to howl today
How one man turned the lives of those parents gray
Can you not see what is wrong here?
Not another moment of this craziness I can bear!
Wake up from your sleep you morons
How many more have to die to stop these gorgons
How many more kids have to sacrifice their beautiful lives?
How long do we have to live on the edge of knives?
I wish I could do anything to help those in pain
Lawmakers don’t let those countless deaths be in vain.

Feeling of Loss

The feeling of loss that you feel
Is inexplicable and hard to deal
I am all healed up with the wound
But the scars are not gonna go away soon
They are here to stay
But I hope I can learn this way
I am scared to put myself out there
Cause that leaves me hurt and bare
I am sure I will learn to trust again
And have meaningful friendships that are not a drain.

There Is More To Me

There is more to me than “I”
I should rise above mine and “My”
When I was a little child
Love in my heart was piled..
Today I would do anything to get back
To cuddle away in that sack
Life was comfortable there
When my feet was bare..
I didn’t have to worry about a thing
When I didn’t live like a king.

Soarin Clouds

The sky was turning grey
As I looked outside today
The clouds were roaring
Up above they were soaring
I wasn’t sure what someone did to make them so mad
The pretty white clouds, today in the grey were clad
My thoughts were running wild to figure out why
But then those giants started to cry
After covering the earth with droplets of their tears
They sure must’ve gotten rid of all their fears
I think that’s how the humans behave
Crying out loud sometimes helps us to cave.
