The One

One day, I hope it will be easier.
One day, I hope the pain will subside.
One day, I hope that hole in my heart will fill.
One day, I'll be by your side.

I hope that day comes one day my brother
You're not upstairs of that we know.
I know you'll be raising Hell my brother.
Anyone who knew you will also know.

That one day I will see you again my brother.
See that you are still the same.
And that day when I see you again my brother.
Maybe that day will ease my pain.

For now in this life I have my thoughts my brother.
Laugh at the the things that you did.
No matter how you left us you are still my big brother.
You're big Knoxy, my brother, Wor Kid.

Sleep well and raise Hell my brother. Sleep well!!!

This Life

This reckless life has been my making,
Like a juggernaut always forsaking......
Others.
As has been my want,
I want it to end but i know that it can't.
Destructiveness! My best form of expression,
I blame depression,
When will I learn my lesson?
I'm not confessing or asking for a blessing......
Of forgiveness.
To help me out of my life mess,
Sometimes.....It all seems so pointless.
My body and mind.....need to be lifeless,
To escape....this destructive rut i'm in.
I'm not a catholic, so it isn't a sin.
I know.....
It'll be a blessing on the people around me.
But what if they found me?
Would they ever sleep soundly?
In their beds again, from what they saw, pain in their hearts and memories raw.
Why should i care?
I'll be knocking at Hell's door,
Enter for an answer so i can even the score.....
with the one.....
Who brought this all on me.
There'll be a mirror in Hell, because I know who i'll see!!!

Clock Watching

Time waits for no man.
The saying goes.
Does it not?
I beg to differ.
Yes , we are Governed by it.
Ruled by time.
Our lives are constantly 'on the clock'.
You have a due date at birth,
Sometimes early , sometimes late.
Always the clock rules our lives.

Late for school.
Late for work.
Chastised because you don't conform to the clock.
No praise for being early,
Only noticed when you're tardy.

Appointments must be met with military precision.
Doctors , Dentists , interviews......
We must be on time.

Who sets the standard?
Why are our lives set out by a calendar and clock that man invented?
Causing us to rush , or worry to even be a minute late.
Then work! Don't be late or we will again chastise.

And as the clock ticks when our life ebbs.
We are told as disease ravages our bodies and mind.
You only have months or years to live.
To die suddenly takes away the 'precious time' .
The time spent with the ones we love and who in turn love us.

Not me though!
I am not restricted by time.
I plan to live as long as I want.
So far so good!!!
