Out of This World

Out of This World

I dream
Of an outer-space galaxy
An incredible parallel universe
For only you and me
I spread my wings and soar
Come, the stars wont let us fall
Please come join me
Only you can break down this wall

Well fly away
To this special place I know
Our own stratosphere beyond the Milky Way
Where only you and I can go
Its a fantasy world
Well flee to this far away place
To forget our pain and build our dreams
That can never be erased

A life unknown
Instead of sadness, there's only pure bliss
And we no longer live on the air that we breathe
Now we survive on each hug and kiss
Simply serene
Simultaneous rays of moon and sunlight
Everything perfectly balanced
Never finding reason to fight

Hold me close
On this soft bed of sand
Then well walk this path together
Always hand in hand
Passing through a threshold
Many beginnings but never any ends
Falling upon completion
A lifetime together well spend

Self Discovery

Self Discovery

I want to waste the night away,
and spend my time
on setting my mind free.

Lost are my eyes,
in the stars
and the moon.

Tears flow rapidly,
consuming my mood.
No self control.

Riptide of emotions,
it sweeps me away.
To where I don't know.

Oblivious as to what
is included in my new
path of choice.

Lost, afraid and alone
Knowing none other than
self doubt

Stars fade,
and the sun rises.
I find the me within.

Fallen

Fallen

Falling like a sinking stone,
My heart on the ocean floor.
I thought things were okay now,
As always I'm wanting something more.

When will 'it' ever be enough?
Just to stop the pain?
I don't consider it selfish,
And I wouldn't call it vain.

To want to be acknowledged,
Or at least more than to blend in.
I never thought wanting to be wanted,
Could feel like such a sin.

I alone am never enough,
So I'm always hearing 'no'.
I wish deep down it didn't matter,
That I could simply let 'it' go.

I realize it's not that easy.
Not for you, or them, or me.
But I wonder if there's any way,
To truly make you see...

This isn't what I bargained for,
Something less, but wanting more.
Heartbroken and alone,
Fallen to the ocean floor.

Time Stands Still

Over and over I curse my mind,
A search I've created with nothing to find.
I'm searching for something, I just don't know what,
Someone please pull me, up out of this rut.

A tangled mess is what my mind's made of,
I wanna find something that's made out of love.
Too many things in reflection of hate,
Give me my destiny, fulfilling my fate.

Bridge: (2x's)
Why does it come down to having to choose?
Who really cares when you've got nothing to lose?

Chorus:
Changing channels on the tube,
But nothing's quite, amusing my mood.
Time just keeps standing still,
Give me something, anything just for a thrill.

Falling with Alice down that rabbit hole,
Life is exhausting me, taking it's toll.
Time to break free from this looking glass,
Put myself out there and start kicking ass.

I wanna see the green grass on the other side,
Who wants to join me, come along for the ride?
Time's no factor, just let go,
'Cause out there's a world with so much more than we know.

Bridge: (Repeat 2x's)

Chorus: (Repeat 2x's)
