The Oscars

Oscars

Oscars night is here again, beautiful women and gorgeous men.
Play acting is what they do on the silver screen for me and you.
Some will win some will lose, the film academy will chose
Fasion statements galore with Gucci armani, and Christian dior

Rubies and diamonds shining bright, bringing sparkle to the night
Backless, strapless and shoulder less gowns some worn with a frown
Helen mirren as the queen looking quite pristine
Penelope Cruz in her Jimmy choo's
What a spectacle what a show and when they won wow

To See Hawthorn On the Summer Hedges

to see hawthorn on the Summer hedges
bluebirds on the ledges of the low lying sill
 near the old cotton mill
bird song fills the air, chirping cheeping, caterpillars creeping.,
through the leaves of green
glistening in the summer sun.

The Raging Tide

Like the everlasting tide, tossing, turning, bobbing, weaving,my innermost feelings,
Burning rage within my veins,my heart thumping to and fro, thoughts racing in
my mind, internal turmoil where to go.

I take a walk along the shore, the water lapping at my feet, gently rolling to and
fro,my heartbeat starts to slow, inner calmness once more restoned, angry
feelings now abated, tossed onto the torring tide, peace once more at my side.

Extending His Smile To All Sides of Good

Strong willed you may say as he goes on his way.
his thinning hair a dead giveaway,

Each dawn a new day to endure, yet so unsure.
absent friends to remember, this cold November.

Lonely tired yet still he smiled.

The Journey

We started our journey you and I
We were very young and a little shy
We have grown in love throughout the years and have laughed and cries and
shared our fears

The road we have travelled hasn't always been smooth but the journey we have
started we will see through
The humps and bumps has made us strong and I hope the journey will go on
and on

Friends may come and friends may go but your love I always know
We started our journey you and I and I know it will last until I die
