Tianming Zhong Poem
Red as blood,
Like a fire,
Burning the cloud,
Reddening the sky.
You come once a year,
Marking the end of a year,
And beginning of a new season.
Rejoice of re-gathering
Always happens at an agreed time.
What about slowing down your pace?
Working is not all of life.
Occasional relax
Helps you understand the whole.
Let’s thank pohutukawa,
She’s got a warm and caring heart,
Reminding us of the year end.
Therefore we are able to look back
All we have done in the past year.
And look forward to
A brilliant new year!

Tianming Zhong Poem
A fly
Dancing in front of my eyes
Not knowing my power
Not knowing my hatred
A fly
Having memory of
Only three seconds
It makes no haste
It makes no enemy

Tianming Zhong Poem
The strong gives you
Reliance and hold
Therefore the weak is able
To climb up
Their tentacles
Having no eyes
Have been seeking and never give up
They seek on which they can rely
Following their perception in the dark
So, when you are longing for sunshine
Even the blind sees the brightness
Those who seek truth in blind
Will receive full blessing
Let’s wait for harvesting
Of various sweet fruits
After wither and fall

Tianming Zhong Poem
An ant
Stumbling on a soft dish towel
Overlooking a vast area
Rugh and bumpy
Behold
What a vastness!
Says the ant
I just can’t reach the end
