Temptation

Each time she looks looks at me with those eyes
My heart skips with zest through the skies
Making me wonder why she is so cute
Her countenance driving me mute

Pink lips
Slightly parted revealing
Bud that sips
Men's destiny

In bottle she is red
In clothing she is a sheep
In hunger a bread
In the middle of the sea a ship

Ship sailing men to early grave
Food choking men to death
Sea infested with mad waves
Crushing and sinking men to mother earth

Elegant legs moving to the rhythm of music
Approaches when I am weak
Yanking off the fabric
And devouring the heart of the meek......

The Girl In Church

I can't concentrate in church
My hard heart is beginning to clutch
The transparent porch
Of the image of the girl in church

My fingers would freeze on the piano
As my eyes catches a glimpse of the rainbow
Moving graciously in a row
Of the singers of soprano

A little while my heart is at rest
And suddenly beats with sorrowful zest
As if a higher force is making jest
Of me or is it a test?

Why won't she just go away
To a faraway place and stay
Until the lions eat up the hay
And my heart has no more a day

Should mount Everest be at sea level
And my heart becomes a castle
I would be free from this evil
Lingering torturing and consuming the strength of my heart's cradle

Why has my heart become a fertile ground
For the seed of lust which abound
In its midst and mound
Of desire gathering momentum around

I should be glad if I become free
Of this shackles lingering for eternity
Yanking off the chains with alacrity
I will be glad I am free

The Leaf

See! the leaf is playing
Dancing to the wind-swaying
Its beautifully green
Or is it a dream-screen?
Suddenly the sun is shining
The leaf is still dancing
Maybe its not feeling the heat
Maybe there is no heat
But now the leaf is turning yellow
Sun-heating it below
The leaf is tattered
Yellow-green green-yellow scattered
The leaf is dancing still
But gradually becoming still
With its energy decreasing
Wit time and timing
That which felt everything
Suddenly feels and becomes nothing
That which was filled with desires
Now lie still-expired
An old energy seeking a new body
Again it acquires one with malady
Caught up in this cycle of suffering called life
The cycle continues with suffering and strife

I Will Be Glad

So many things have happened that makes me depressed
Making me feel like a victim and an oppressed
But today I have decided to be glad
No matter what happens I refuse to be sad

Sand Built Mansion

My sand built mansion
Will one day sink in sand
And all my passion
To yonder land
Whether or not you have seen me before
You shall see me no more
But I wont remain in the dark
I shall take another form and come back
I shall live forever
After that carnal life is over

No Right Time

There is nothing like "the right time"
Stop sitting and waiting for it
Of course everything is going to be fine
But it won't be until you start working towards it
I have seen many a talent wasted
Many treasures untapped
Many people frustrated
Many visions warped
It's not because they don't have dreams
It's not because life is unfair
Its not because their hope does not beam
Neither is it because things are unclear
It all boils down to one thing
They call it "the right time"-
A time supposedly coming
When everything will be automatically fine
I challenge you today
That such a time does not exist
So get up and take action
And you won't regret you did
