Brotherly Love

I have this Brother, you may or may not
know,
Who holds onto disappointment & hurt 
and refuses to let go,
What he doesn't seem to understand, is
not everyone thinks like his mind,
And to be different is wonderful for we're all
one of a kind,
I'm not here to sell my actions or my point
of view,
But I do expect people to be respectful, themselves, honest and true,
Indifference is what makes the world go
round,
Accepting different cultures and opinions,
let's us all stand on solid ground,
I don't need to shout out the good or bad that
has passes my way,
I just need to make things better for myself each passing day,
So I say for all the whole world to know
Life is to be expected to have its highs and lows!

It Was Just a Thought

Some people talk about me, they think I'm a little strange,
But I hope they don't get stuck thinking I'll never change,
I don't preach, judge or try to sell you lies,
I'm just being myself with a curious why?
Knowing that politics, religion and morals may not always agree,
For some people can be stubborn, prideful and see just what they want to see,
Some may not understand you or know where your coming from,
Don't be discouraged or odd man out, continue your path and give it a good run,
We're not born with a instruction manual with life explained,
Although some may think because of their lineage or money makes it easier to obtain,
What we want out of life or what we choose to leave behind,
For myself it begins with truth, heart and peace of mind,
I could be wrong after all it's just my point of view,
But I hope you can accept me for me, as I accept you for you!

It Wasn'T Me

Kill me now,
Hate me later,
Tell me why your such a hater,
Slap me silly,
Kick my ass,
I know in time this too shall pass,
Let me forgive,
Let me learn,
God I can't wait till it's your turn,
To not have a voice or even a say,
To hurt like no other and pay baby pay,
I have no one to blame but me myself and I,
I guess that's why I continue to cry,
It is what it is, this is how I feel
To know people like you who pretend to be real,
So shut the window,
Close the door,
For your no longer a thought anymore.

Riding Solo

Alone in my heart
Alone in my head
Alone in the dark
Alone in my bed
No one to love
No on to share
No one to hold me and tell
me they care
No one to talk to
No one who hears
My crys at night and all
that I fear
Alone as I age
Alone when I die
With no one to hear my

Dawning of a New Day

I'm tired of the bull, I'm tired of all the lies,
Tired of the drama , it's time for our goodbyes,
Although I feel used and disrespected in many ways,
I'm not a heartless person, I can wish you the best today,
I've done what I could and tried to help the best I can,
That's something you can't comprehend or will ever understand,
So I leave with peace and lessons learned
Knowing that one the table's will be turned,
This is not a hateful so long, just a better road for me,
If you opened your eyes its the truth, and you'll see,
In no way am I judging or putting you down,
It's just I cant deal with the negativity or have it around,
They say there's a reason for what we go through maybe it's true,
But it's time for me to say good luck and goodbye to you!

Growing Pains

She has her eye's wide open,
And her voice you can hear,
Yet her mind and heart she allows no one near,
She doesn't find it easy to let her emotions show,
For disappointment and trust is something she knows,
She feels meaningless and hasn't strived for her best,
And knowing that truth, she can no longer rest,
As far as what's next? It's all up to her,
So we'll just have to wait and see what occurs!

Life

I've watched, listened and tried my best to learn,
But to no avail it seems I always get burned,
I ask myself time and again,
Is this my life and how it's going to end?
With me alone feeling this despair,
A life wasted with a heart never shared,
Can I change the outcome with the time God has given me?
Or do I just live and let live and let things be,
I don't give up that easily, I believe the power within can amaze and astound,
And the beauty of life will always be around,
So I lay down my head to wake up to a new day,
And embrace the opportunities that will come my way,

My School Girl Crush

My Monday's and Tuesday's, can never come to fast,
For those are the day's I sit next to you in class,
Who would of thought we would be paired up for this play?
And now that I know you better, I'm thinking about you everyday,
Your kind and helpful, you put me at ease,
Your funny and witty when we playfully tease,
We should go out together on a real date,
Our meeting each other was more than just fate,
We have a blast when we're together, and there's the meeting of our minds,
So what do say? Lets give it a shot and have a wonderful time!

Insperation

My life has been chaotic crazy and sometimes blue,
yet I asked the Lord above why am I so blessed with you?
When I'm sad and down and feel I can't go on,
You give me support and love and feel the void of my Mom,
Why am I so lucky to know someone beautiful and honest about life as you know?
For you give me strength and courage and help me to continue to grow,
Into the person I'm becoming and who I'd like to be,
You lift my spirits and help me view lifes and it's possibilities,
And no matter what has occurred weather big or small,
It gives me comfort and ease I can walk with you and stand tall,
If there's anything in life I would like to leave behind,
It's to have a part of you for your one of a kind,
You're that diamond in the rough that you so rarely ever find

Although my heart breaks, for your no longer here,
I have so many memories, that I hold very dear,
You were always there for me, with a helping hand,
You helped me see things I couldn't understand,
Your morals were true, and you lived life with zest,
You could be very funny at times but dancing was your best,
I can go on and on, you were that great of a Dad,
And everyday I will miss the Father I once had,
You will not be forgotten, your presence will stay,
Even though you left us on that Mother's day,
