There is a feeling that can’t compare.
The sweet feeling of love in the air.
The passion of a kiss.
A sight no one wants to miss.
True love is something that is so rare.
I know that we make a perfect pair.
When you’re close I can feel your love.
Like an angel sent from above.
You are the light that shines through the dark.
I lose my mind when were apart.
I love you baby with all my heart.
Knowing your mine is as beautiful as the sunshine in March.
You are the best thing that has happened to me.
And I know that true love is what it has to be.

The day starts out with sun in the sky.
Kids all around playing outside.
Everything seems perfect and calm.
Next thing you know the storm is on.
It comes on hard and fast.
The sky grows dark and the lightening blasts.
The wind begins to swirl and blow.
The trees shake as the thunder rolls.
The clouds open and the rain comes down.
Now there is no one running around.
As the storm grows worse the alarm soon sounds.
To the basement as the tornado touches down.
The tornado rips apart the town.
Nothing left as people look around.
Amazing how much can change that quick.
No one thought it would end like this.

Hoping for a change.
The struggle grows deeper with every day.
The pain gets worse and harder to bear.
Tears form larger in my empty stare.
The weight grows heavier with every minute.
Back breaking knowing I can’t finish.
The light grows dimmer.
Wondering what I’m gonna eat for dinner.
As hope grows weak I feel the dark.
My life hasn’t been a walk in the park.

My limbs grow weak from the weight I carry.
The grave is deep and I’m feeling buried.
I try my best to raise my head.
Body already feeling dead.
I do what I can to make it through.
Never giving up is what I will do.
Exhaust hits hard like a freight train.
Better yet like a bullet to the brain.

It results from a violent act.
The men charge the field and scream attack.
A contract written in blood.
Doesn’t end because no one runs.
Blood and guts are spilled.
All around people being killed.
A man flies into the sky.
From a bomb that blew nearby.
Every second things get worse.
So much destruction but what is it worth.
All that’s left is destruction and chaos.
Not knowing in the end that they have all failed us.

The smile I wear is not fake.
Knowing your mine is all it takes.
Every day I wake to your text.
And just think about what’s gonna happen next.
Amazing I would feel this way again.
With all the pain there has been.
You’re like the stars growing light.
Allowing my heart to take flight.
I would give you the world if I have a chance.
Come here baby and let’s dance.
My heart is big but not a toy.
Can’t believe you bring me this much joy.
