Jeff Fawcett Poem
In my head...
the moon is obviously luminous green cheese
the man inside looks down and laughs at all us worker bees
chocolate flows in a river made by a man with a funny hat
Superman saves the day with his friend who looks much like a bat
In my head...
astronauts soar through space and time to discoveries unknown
scientists grow dinosaurs from the remnants of a bone
Santa still rides his sleigh on a blistery Christmas Eve
presents are brought to boys and girls that faithfully believe
In my head...
Cowboys ride to towns filled with tumbleweeds and dust
they fight evil men with black hats and justice is a must
the milkman still delivers delicious goods on his daily route
Policemen are still looked up to with hearts fair and stout
In my head...
mermaids sing songs of splendor on beaches in the morn
while turtles frolic in the surf and watery reflections adorn
a stealthy serpent lives beneath the murky depths of Lochness
innocents still see a glimpse of him while fools he puts to the test
In my head...
Angels watch over children and adults alike
they protect us from the darkness lurking in the dead of night
fireflies blink morse-code telling tales of wondrous things
of wise Kings and gallant knights fighting dragons for their queens
In my head...
People still smile and say 'hi' as you pass them in the street
Boy scouts cross old ladies for the good deed they must meet
The flag still waves as a symbol for a Nation eternally born
stars and stripes speak of a country united and untorn
...wouldn't you like to live inside my head?

Jeff Fawcett Poem
The cyborg rust more than half a score
Cobwebs entangled round
The monster lurked near at hand
While memory chips stay bound
The monster heaved her heavy roar
Then stroked his plastic heart
A virus unleashed on him
And tore his core apart
Years captive now in dismal time
Too frail to process pain
Hope lingered in hidden RAM
As the monster roared in vein
A lightening storm rolled in one day
Static filled the air
A bolt came forth through firewall
And rendered captive bare
A rift in time, memory surged
The cyborg broke his chains
The monstrous howls are distant now
Cyborg now explores new plains

Jeff Fawcett Poem
The Life I've changed is that of ONE
Yet many lives remain undone
ONE seed I plant on present plain
That future tears shall surely wane
Scarlett thread spun strong yet sheer
A world away from there to here
Innocent life clad in jade
No better cull could I have made
ONE fire kindled on dampened soil
Spite many sparks light be foiled
Present darkness overcome
Rising flame of that of ONE
