The Market of Gargoyles and Gelded Men

One night, I stumbled impetuously in what seems like a market
Where gargoyles and gangrenes were sold in secret and hidden places
I watched the seller closely and a gelded man! I saw signs of
Pity, I felt for him until he started hinting at shooting cupid's arrow at me
What an irony! I said to myself until I found out that I was lost in the market of gargoyles and gelded men!!!

Resolution

They love their leg end
They don't care about a dead end
I wonder if they know an end
Because they go on and beyond

What I Want

my momma asked me
what do you want for christmas?
a backyard full of bees for me,
hands to wipe the river from your eyes,
wings from me to you to be free
diapers for the twins
and why do you want only bees?
because babies love honey
and baby Jesus will not be tempted to leave us.

You

you
dwelling in the midst of my dreams
you existed
with your smile I live my days
gradually you departed
leaving me to live the rest of my days
are you dead?
I ask myself always
with time I realized
you were in my dreams
always waiting for the day
for me to realize
you were never there
and we were not meant to be.

The Dilemma of a Child

CHRISTMAS IS HERE AGAIN
MAMA NEVER STOPPED DECORATING
DOESN'T SHE KNOW MARY IS ABOUT TO GIVE BIRTH?
PAPA IS NOT HOME YET
ARE WE NOT GOING TO CELEBRATE?
WHY ARE PEOPLE ALWAYS COMING TO OUR HOUSE?
IS MARY GOING TO GIVE BIRTH AT OUR HOUSE?
WHY IS EVERYWHERE SO COLD?
I HOPE BABY JESUS WILL BE ALRIGHT.

That Day

That very day,
The sun set
When I heard it,
My hands started shaking from unwritten words
My eyes were blurry from unseen tears
My tongue became heavy from unsaid words
My ears started ringing from unheard voices

That very day,
I missed that sun
That very day, your setting broke my heart
That very day,
That sun set in the South.
About to rise in the North...
But that very day, you set.

Betrayal

A while ago, she was here
Promising to hold my hand till forever
Never letting go she said
Tears shed together
Jokes laughed at together
Hurts felt together
A while ago, she was that mountain that can never be moved
Firmly she stood by me

Until forever ended.
She was a mountain, now she is the wind
Passing never to return to its starting point
The hurts that we felt together was the very knife that was used to cut through my very heart
My trust and hope was her ship
The tears we shed together was the sea that she sailed on
Our laughter was the sound of her mockery roaring and echoing

Slowly and slowly as I descended in the very sea that we made
I asked myself when is forever?
Is there a forever?
