Chrisstiana Dowling Poem
~Winter Bids Autumn Adieu~
Russet, orange and harvest gold
Autumn is the season when colors unfold.
The trees in celebration
dancing to the wind
preparing for the watery
wayward winds to rescind.
Lovers stroll hand in hand in the park
while people throw frisbees
to their dogs that bark.
Children play jumping
in the colorful leaves.
Sweaters, shirts and jackets
all with long sleeves.
Soon the ground will
be covered with pearly snow.
The night sky all lit up
with Christmas lights sparkling
and faces of innocence aglow.

Chrisstiana Dowling Poem
~The Prodigious Peregrine~
The wide winged Peregrines
soar over the ocean.
Flapping their wings
in steady motion.
Grazing the waves
as they head for the caves
shadowing the finned
on their way there.
The prey they ensnare
makes their trip through the air
proof they are quite disciplined.
When it's time to resume
they will fly by the moon
back to their grassy bedding.
There they will rest
feeling well fed
under the sunshine
basking.
When their bellies cry out
they'll go back into flight
for now, they lay
quietly resting.

Chrisstiana Dowling Poem
Mountain Life
The sun is beaming on the lazy creek.
The trees swaying with the breeze.
The ladies are sunbathing
and the children are playing,
living life with ease.
The guys throw sticks
and the dogs are quick,
to run and fetch them back.
The meadow blooms
with wildflowers.
Nature’s awesome
and that’s a fact.
The sky is true blue
the clouds puffy white but
we’re already thinking
about the night.
When all the stars will spread out far
and we will all unite.
To beat on our drums
and sing our songs,
and dance around the fire.
Sharing good food
and drinking cold brew
living out our life’s desires.
